Mighty bird still not seen south of equator

Why are Australian rightwing bloggers not embracing their inner chickenhawk? This new campaign to get the Keyboard Commandos to fight back against the mean mockery of the ensnared-by-facts left has been running for days and days now and so far not one Australian rightwinger has seen fit to place the beautiful nouveau-Soviet emblem on their site. What gives?
Maybe the interns are just waiting for General Blair to take the lead? So come on, Tim, give it your Navy Seal of approval and I’m sure it will pop up all over Oz101stistan, like pimples on a teenager.
And what better day to claim credit for your vital part in the end of world terrorism (ignore all those pesky reports by leftie organisations like the Pentagon and US State Department that say that terrorism is on the rise) than the third anniversary of George W. Bush’s declaration of the end major military action in Iraq? Who cares if he was wrong, it’s never stopped you supporting him in the past. Surely the symbolism of the day is too perfect to resist.
Come on, there’s still time. Who will be the first Australian rightwing blog to proudly join the 101st Fighting Keyboardists? There’ll be a very special mention here at Surfdom for the first person to officially join up.
Don’t tell me yer chicken?

That symbol is just so cheesy that it’s bound to be lobbed straight back at the people who created it.

to me it says ‘Romanov’ rather than ‘Soviet’ (revealing, that)
As for the choice of name, note that the 101st Airborne’s ex-commander came out in defence of Rumsfeld during the recent generals revolt. Coincidence maybe, but whoever drew this logo didn’t pick the 82nd (whose ex-commander was one of Rumsfeld’s critics)

OK got the emblem, what about the motto? “Never rest ’till we all have blue eyes?”
