Getting Osama

John McCain might be prepared to go to the gates of hell to get Osama (honestly, what kind of person doesn’t get the giggles when they hear old farts blustering bullshit like that?) but the Bush mob are not backward in seeking justice. A mere seven years after the attack on the World Trade Centre:
The United States is erecting billboards in Afghanistan offering hefty rewards for Osama bin Laden, Taliban chief Mullah Mohammad Omar and US Al Qaeda member Adam Gadahn, the embassy has said.
Ten of the large Rewards for Justice boards were being erected countrywide, two of them in Kabul, embassy spokeswoman Corina Sanders said.
I wonder if people seeking the reward have to apply in person or if there’s a web site.

I reckon some muzzo is bound to dob in old Osama. After all, your neighbours in muzzo land wouldn’t notice a mere 50 million that you suddenly had sloshing around, or that fleet of new jumbo jets for all your wives, or a coupla new oil wells you’d recently aquired from the reward money.
And it’s not as though any muzzo would exact retribution for your dobbing activities.
Persons seeking the said Osama should scour the Middle East for a tall man with a long beard in white robes. Should be a cinch to find.

Is “muzzo land” anywhere near Boganville?

I remember coming across the US issued Osama Bin Laden match books that were distributed about the place, mostly Pakistan, Afghanistan and the Gulf.
I bought one, as a joke.
The joke wasn’t that they were issuing match books to help find Osama, but that they consisted of a picture of Osama and then a whole lot of English language text saying ‘wanted’ and ‘reward’.
It woudl seem to me that the people most likely to actually know where Osama is aren’t likely to know how to read English, and are even less likely to have access to a phone to call the international number to dob him in.
Putting Osama et al on billboards will, in my opinion at least, further make him an iconic hero amongst his followers (and potential followers).
I can’t imagine him being turned in when his and Al Qaeda’s support in Pakistan and Afghanistan is growing daily.

Osama is a baby-boomer and well we are supposed to be the scare-crows that stop the Monarch butterfly from tresspassing on GMO canola!?I worry about myself,I can still feel angry goosebumps when that painting was bought by Gough Whitlam gets publicity, and the admirers go on about it rising in value.I could swig more coconut and pineapple juice organic for the difference in value, and be less bored shitless.I do hope the signage doesnt end up as blood splattered replicas. It would be worse than Fraser loosing his clothes in the U.S.A. Malcolm would look a bit like Osama with a beard!?
