Want to see how many issues wannabe president McCain has changed his mind about recently? There’s a truly awesome list here.

But it’s all immaterial; the man is an ex-prisoner of war and therefore hugely qualified to bomb Iran, and that’s all that really matters.

    What’s the problem? There seems to be something there for everyone. McCain seems to following the Reagan theory: the truth is whatever he last happened to say.

    I don’t think the punters would buy it a second time round (whoops, a third time round - forgetting already about Dubya).

    American elections classically involve a two-step: the candidate runs to the extreme in the primary, then back to the centre for the general. Mr Obama is doing that. Mr McCain seems to be doing precisely the opposite. It is a mistake.

    He actually is qualified to bomb Iran, and no doubt crash another plane or 6 while he’s at it.

    I personally wouldn’t trust the old codger with the strategic decision. But what does it matter? I told you all that McCain’s got the Malcolm Mackeras reverse endorsement on his side! It’s time for canned goods and ammo, people!

    Ok RTS’s what drives people like McCain at his age ,also Mugabie and etc; and others, to be so pugnacious to others self on other, or country on other?.Is it an ideal, is it ideal for your patch, or is it to make a mark at whatever cost that you feel will make people remember you. ( Howard).
    Is it where a drug dependent or a thief ,a bank ,or a religion is basically an honest thief, still a thief, however is subtle.They know their targets.Why do these people of a certain age do this?Last grasp at power, a sinuous past or a banal trying at correction.
