AWB scandal, Howard - 18 Comments » - Posted on September, 30 at 12:29 pm
Protesters excercising their democractic rights were denounced as being in league with Saddam Hussein, while mates of the prime minister’s actually in league with Saddam Hussein (allegedly, based on evidence at the Cole Inquiry) were given kid-glove treatment and extended the prime minister’s every trust.
How’s that judgement working out for you, prime minister?
PM denounces protesters […]

During the past week John Howard has been politically astute in deflecting heat from the US assessment.
Now, at least Kelly […]

A US national intelligence estimate from April said the Iraq war had spawned a new generation of Islamic radicals and made the terrorism problem worse, the New York Times newspaper reported overnight.

Dennis Shanahan’s career as a stand-up comic is coming along nicely with his latest improv on the most recent Newspoll results:
VOTER dissatisfaction with Kim Beazley’s leadership is undermining Labor’s election-winning lead in crucial marginal seats.
Yep, Kim Beazley’s irrelevant preferred PM vote is ‘undermining’ Labor’s poll results to such an extent that their lead went up […]

I talked to some post-grad students yesterday at Carnegie-Mellon University about political blogging and how it has developed in Australia. I was asked a lot of interesting questions, including what advice would I give Federal Labor about winning the next election and using blogs as a campaign tool.
I’m not sure I had a particularly […]
